This is very difficult to do... it's been discussed on here before.

Hmmmm, I wonder by whom.

So did you ever get a triggered design to work PVC? I read your one thread about grenades and it seemed to just turn up as a flame war.

You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

Is anything prohibited about using a precharged grenade trigged by a ripcord?

Grenade gets lobbed, cord gets yoinked and pwoomph.

I've made this type before, and even found a decent trigger, but the tire valve must be on the side.

Get a machine screw with teflon tape with a sharpened point opposite the small trigger hole. It works by screwing in and out, adjusting the airflow.

I've gotten an average delay ranging from 8 seconds to 1 second, depending on how much I twist the screw out.

hey Davidvaini here, im on his account because im on his computer...

I decided instead of drilling a hole for the pinhole to use a threaded cap instead.. I recall having a few projects where the threaded cap without teflon tape would leak very slowly.. It will also shorten the length of the overall shell.

So I have made part of it and I will probably be uploading pics tonight

Davidvaini- out.

No matter how rich you become, how famous or powerful, when you die the size of your funeral will still pretty much depend on the weather.

Not necessarily true. I'm working out a design right now, and I just put the tire valve a lot closer to the side of the end cap.

Other than that, I pretty much do what you said, and for some reason, I think your comment is just c/p from the old grenade thread.

Nope. In fact, you could use that as a trip wire mine.

So as I said above im not doing the pin idea first.. im actually trying the threaded cap.

So because there will be twists and turns that the air will have to make the placement on the tire valve won't really matter.

Camera battery is charging and I will get pics up as soon as I can

Picture below is a view down the secondary chamber into the cap that disperses the flour everywhere.

there is no hole on the threaded cap. just the threads themselves that leak depending on how hard you tighten the threaded cap.

Here is a video to show that it leaks.. cap will probably be tighter but I wanted the leak big enough for the camera to pick up the noise:

I havnt tested it yet.. I still need to make the main chamber.. I just blew through one end to see if there were any leaks.. it does leak but its very minimal.. you can adjust the leak by adjusting the tightness of the threaded cap.

Do not look back, and grieve over the past, for it is gone;
Do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come;
Live life in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.
