From your description of the dodgy internals, I doubt that is the case. Again, post some good photos of what you have and we will be able to advise you better.

As pointed out however, propane is very temperature sensitive when it comes to pressure, could you also show us your feed attachment?

Mostly all glock gbb parts are replaceable from your pipe cleaner idea it seems it was broken before, but all gbb parts are replaceable, post pics and i can help,

also can u ship parts to your country or just not whole guns
sounds like the feeding nozzle and blow back unit is bad
replace feeding nozzle and replace oring in bbu and that should work

Well I've thought of doing the same thing for some time, but I was concerned about exactly the same thing that's happened.

First of all, if you're buying something expensive (and of doubtful legality), always try to inspect something before you buy it.

Also, if you're going to spend so much on something, get something decent. A Co2 pistol would have been cheaper.

Considering a "proper" pistol can be had for under $500, I can't see the appeal. And ammo is no great problem either.

Now I'll let those who know about such things continue advising you.

django, Get some pics and I can see if I can help. I am new to the forums looking for a solution for an air cannon that I am looking to build for Airsoft. With that being said, I know a bit about airsoft guns and how they work...

A) Sounds like he jacked this thing up pretty bad if he used pipe cleaner for bushings.

B) A plastic BB (of weight 0.12-0.40g) should not go threw glass out of a Haw San Glock 17. Just not going to happen with normal glass. If you try to use a metal BB you might have a chance but it is going to be smaller than a 6mm plastic BB that is meant to go in that gun and not feed right.

C) Haw San is not a good brand but you should be able to get replacement parts for it using KSC parts or WE parts. They all are interchangeable and clones of each other.

D) If the gun is working right, you should be getting about 350fps-400fps out of it. However, if the seals are not right and you have a lot of leaking, you will get no where near that.

E) DO NOT HEAT UP THE PROPANE and "green" gas is nothing but propane with oil in it, so it is not going to make a difference. If it does not work with propane then it will not work with green gas!!!

F) Screw the drug trade, I am going to start to smuggle in toy guns in to you Aussies!!! I have about $50,000 US in guns sitting here by your prices!!!

G) You problem, among many other things, sounds like your pin might be not releasing properly. Also, you might have a problem with the feeding alignment. There should be no reason why it will not feed the first BB regardless (If you are using 6mm plastic 0.20g BBs)

H) Last one I promise, Pistols, Glocks mainly, have problems left and right. I have three sitting on my desk. One is stuck on full auto (Glock 26C) and one has a pin issue where it fires the first shot but lets all the gas out of the mag (Glock 23). Once you start trying to fix them it seems like you always run into problems.

Last bit of advice I can give is to get a set of drawings for any maker of Glock 17 and follow them. Then order replacement parts to a friend in the US or somewhere and have them shipped to you. Post your pictures and I will see if me or one of the gun techs I know can help you out!

Best of luck mate!

Django, if you can check this is the issue I can try help you out. Either draw me up what you need made or if someone else can find/make drawings of the part if they have it. It sounds like it should be small, so postage will only cost me a few cents.

My tools are at your disposal  lets get this fixed up for you

THANKS GUYS!! Just had another go and now the slide isnt locking back when the mag is empty as well!, but it did yesterday... this gun is all messed up.

Im getting only 1 mag from a FULL Charge and is powerless?!!( wont even go into a can a point blank!) it just will not feed BBS.

I can't hear any leaking at all but I left a small amount of gas in the mag last night to stop seals drying out, just got home from work and theres no gas left in the mag?.

Will try get pics asap,I dont think Airsoft parts will get past customs here= aparently they are very knowledged on what to look for and have heard numerous reports of guys getting " Airsoft Parts" confiscated but as to what" Parts" I dont know?....

Ive just taken some pics of the pistol with the slide off and showing the mechanism but cant for the life of me see how all the barrel/firing mechanism can be removed from the frame??.

do you guys need pics of all the internals removed/in peices?,I cant get the insides sperated from the frame and dunno if Id be able to put it back together if I did!!?.

I can see a Pin that knocks out at the back of the grip and a small screw located under the brass barrel but looks like the Slide Release Buttons will stilll hold the mechanism inplace, kinda hard to explain...

Also you guys will be sursprised at the internals as its nothing like all the other Airsoft glock internals of GBB guns so I can see I'll struggle for parts that fit, even the mag is different

Well first off... If you are loading with the correct amount of gas, you will only get 1 mag out per charge. You should only put about two seconds of gas into a mag. Any more could ruin the O-rings... (Which it sounds like that has happened) You should never leave gas in there for any length of time (i.e. a few days) but if it is not holding it over night then your Mag seals are shot too. This is a common thing but is not easy to fix. Usually it is better to get a new mag, in your case, that might be very hard.

Customs should not be able to tell a spring for an airsoft gun from a spring for a toaster... If you were ordering a new slide you might have a problem but not little parts like springs and slides. I am not telling you to break the law but if you were going to, once you figured out what you needed, I would have a friend here in the States or in the UK order what you need and then send it to you in different packages.

I would start your take down by looking at these two sites:

Step by step take down of a TM Glock 17

Discussion of the above take down

TM is what all the other guns use as their parent to clone off of. So your HS should be the same.

Sorry for so many posts in a row, I just keep finding some new info for you... (Google is your friend!)

Try THIS diagram and see if it helps you out too.

All the online guides are no good to me,when I post pics you will see why!= my Pistol is completely different internally to all other GBB's ive seen.

and guys as for leaving gas in the mag, various Airsoft sites say to leave a small amount of Gas in the mag so the seals dont dry out!?. I had never heard before to just put gas in for only 2 secs,I was filling it for about 5-6 secs at least.

Can you buy new seals for the GBB Mags?,hopefully the mag seals on mine are the same at least? ....should I fill the mag with gas and put it in water to see if I can see any leaks?

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=84299 just one site saying to leave gas in the mag

A) You gun SHOULD NOT be totally different. It is a HS which is a TM clone from Taiwan. If it is totally different, then that might just be your problem!!!

B) Ya, a small amount is ok, I will give the "airsoft" sits that. But we are talking about a little amount and only if I were going to store it for a few weeks while I was trekking across the desert where it is so dry. You do not want to store it full of gas. I only "charge" my glock 26C and glock 23 about 2-3 seconds and I can get a full mag out of each of them. My desert eagle takes about 3-4 seconds because it is so much larger... Now, I use green gas and sometimes red gas but that should not make a difference.

From memory it seems we have exactly the same model. Mine is in pieces now from a violent impact with a hard surface - don't ask - but while accuracy was shite, I remember it worked pretty reliably before.

I'll strip mine down so you don't have to and we'll see if there's any part you might need for replacement, or if we can design improved parts a kind soul can machine for you.
