Just by reading this
seems gas it going everywhere
i can guess you are right when you talk about the seals being scuppered, if you replace the rubber parts (which by now have probably degraded one hell of a lot, what with what seems like both continuous use and lack of a bit of TLC ) then that will solve the lack of power problem, possibly even some other problems as well as it may slow down the cycle better and stop any kind of violent cycling and double feeding or jamming if the o-rings are tighter.
with a bit of help you may be able to make these parts though instead of trying to import them, Now all we need is a person who has experience with machining rubber parts to see this thread and post..... fingers crossed.... :D

an f1 will cost you less than $100 and works nicely even with incandescent bulbs.

The combro CB-625 is a nice little device but you're limited to 0.25" or so maximum calibre: http://www.precision-sports.com/combro.htm

When it comes to increasing power, I've heard about putting in a stronger hammer spring, that will reduce the number of shots from a fill naturally.

I believe it was a .177 CO2 pistol that was modified, and it would knock over a brick after modification.

Also, a question to JSR, I've seen an FX Monsoon out here, they're about $2700 to $3000. Would you consider that somewhat reasonable, considering that's one of the three semi auto air rifles available out here. The other semis are a Crossman and another FX.

I paid about 1350 euros for mine brand new, that was three years ago - just over 1800 AUD - so that's a bit steep.

If you mean the Crosman Nightstalker, completely different league - one shot from the Monsoon is as powerful as five from the Nightstalker, though the latter can be upgraded.

The FX Revolution is not as attractive in my opinion but just as powerful and with a bigger bottle so gets more shots per fill.

Nope. Get reasonable need (i.e. a farm to shoot on for rodents with permission, target shooting etc.), get a licence, and buy an airgun legally.

Or hell, just buy a real gun. Just as easy. For $3000 you could legally own a .44 magnum revolver or .300 winmag rifle, ammo, a safe, membership to a target club, and a gun licence.

Or an airgun that may be faulty, is completely illegal and will carry severe penalties if caught, and no support. No ammo, no parts, nothing.

UPDATE:

Got the seals from Jack( thanks a million! :D ) but sadly this peice of junk is a lost cause, the seals are definately sealing a bit better but it just fires so weak its rediculous and double feeds every shot if you have more than 1 bb in the mag!!.

The weather here at the moment is pretty cold though which doesnt help much,I know it will shoot weaker in cold weather conditions but no idea to what extent?.

I hope the guy that sold me this pistol, burns in hell as he originally wanted more money for it!!?,told me it shot 400 fps= I think its actually doing 150 fps max.......

Glad you got the seals but sorry to hear it hasn't fixed your problem. Just to check, are you sure you assembled them correctly? Did the spring and split ring fit well?

Cold weather is a big factor though - can you try (carefully!) warming the magazine to around 30ºC and seeing what difference it makes?

100% gun is together right!,Spring/retainer fit well.

has really low power, current weather now is 13 degrees C,not game to warm up magazine/gas.

Cant see how its double feeding every shot!?

That's far too low. A good trick it to keep it in your pocket for a couple of minutes, it will get warm enough but there's no risk of it exploding ;)

Im still battling to get this thing to not double feed!?,Im using propane and/silicon oil BUT the first owner of this pistol here in Australia( im the 3rd,4th owner?) says when he used Green Gas it functioned without double feeding?.

Im going to try import the Airsoft gas as ive had 3 guys here tell me they have imported the gas no probs?. Now should I be using HFC22( Green Gas) in this thing or the lower powered HFC13a gas( whatever gas that is?).

Seeing as the slide and internals are metal, Im guessing Green Gas? though that little spring retainer ring thingee is made of plastic(weak point?).

The original first owner said he was getting 60 shots per charge with proper Airsoft gas,I reckon I get maybe 20!

I would confirm that temperature is not an issue before changing gas type, eliminate variables - for science!

Im pretty sure its the gas ,going by what a few others have said and what I myself suspected that Green gas makes the gun work better by having faster cycling over the Propane/silicon oil mix I use.

I have tried a few times warming the mag as you suggested before,in my pocket and also left in the sun for a Short Spell but didnt really improve things.

I did find though that previously I wasnt putting enough gas in the mag?,if I fill it until it wont take anymore then the first 10 shots are of reasonable power ,then power drops off a lot?......

Stupid question - are you doing it the correct way up?

Like this annoying but largely factually correct adolescent explains?
