.209 primer gun

Unread postAuthor: PVC Arsenal 17 » Tue Jul 03, 2007 2:43 pm

This is might be against the rules... if it is, just close it.

Anyway, I had an idea- why not make a pellet gun that fires using .209 primers rather an air? Think about it, airguns are expensive. Why spend hundreds on a break barrel gun or on co2 cartirdges when you could make your own gun that uses primers? Making an air powered gun that would match the power of a real one would be nearly impossible. But with primers, you can make a gun for next to nothing that would be almost as powerful.

I looked up the idea and found a company called PrimeGun. But their site sucks and I can't get any info.

Ideas?

Being as how this thread is going to be closed and all.The .22 "soundless" round is just that.No powder just the rimfire cartridge.Completely slow and only a 150ft. range but, none-the-less fun.
