My first combustion cannon.

Unread postAuthor: victor_passe » Thu Apr 19, 2007 11:59 am

Well to start with I am from Sweden therefor my bad English.
I build it when i was 15 and it is powered by camping-gas and nitrous-oxide.
the barrel is 2" and the chamber is 3".
It is electorally ignited with about 30sparks/s and outputs about 3700Volts
It also got a flashlight on the end of the lower pipe.
I am sorry for the bad pictures.

I will also throw in some pics of my second small cannon
It got the same fuel as the one mentoned above.
I have added a silencer and sight. the barrel is about 1,25"
exept spuds it also shots 2 special shots, one loaded with 300V and 4KF capitator and one with razors.

wow, you said that you get 37 sparks? does it have a spark strip or what? it looks much better than my first. what is the tee for? is that how you fuel it or what? nice cannon. you should use zip-ties to hold all the wire together. other than that, it looks really good.

"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote

you know you are not an engineer if you have to remind yourself "left loosy righty tighty"
