From what I have experienced, Axe contains difluoroethane (aka HFC 152a), which when burned produces Hydrogen flouride gas, which upon contact with moisture in your respiratory tract, dissolves forming hydrofluoric acid. If you have ever taken a whiff of the combustion products of Axe when you open your chamber to vent, you know what I mean. I dont suggest it. Use starting fluid, it works very well.

I have never actually seen a list of the ingrediants in Axe body spray. Immediatley after using Axe in my original gun, and opening the chamber to vent manually (before I had a chamber fan), I knew exactly what was present. I have never used Axe since.

there was this one bug spay can that was sitting on a plastic table at my pond. i forgot that it was leaking and left it there for weeks. when i came back the can had actually sunk itself into the table about 1/16 of an inch. thats how corrosive bugspray can be to plastic.
