I quote Ragnarok's post from more than 2 years ago;
Ragnarok wrote:
My definition of ghetto is that it must have at least 3 of these:
1) Made without measuring anything
2) At least two kinds of tape, PTFE does not count.
3) Minimum amount of money spent
4) Less than 50% rated components
5) Made while bored
6) A tool was used for a purpose other than what it was intended for in the construction
7) At least partly biodegradable.
Here is my entry: it's made of a nail, a peg, a piston made out of tape, a peice of Knex. the top and lid of a water bottle, some pipe, a 6mm barrel, and 3 different types of glue. (superglue, epoxy, hot glue)
I formally apologize to everyone involved. I've been extremely busy and honestly forgot about it.
With that out of the way, I guess it's that time.
Without futher adeu, I proudly announce the winner of this season's Ghetto Award. Coming in a tie for second place is qwerty and his clothespin bbmg and chinnerz and his smashbottle pneumatic. (pauses for a round of applause).
And the winner...of this season's Ghetto Award goes to (begins opening envelope slowly, building the excitement with the crowd)...
JoergS and his condom slingshot
Congratulations Joerg. You are truly an inspiration to all slingshotters out there. And you have, without a doubt, proven that, with just a little bit of patients and a great deal of ingenuity, one can make the most ghetto or the most elogant of things.
Now, I present to you, The Ghetto Award
