1" Hybrid Project

So as you may have noticed I have been inquiring about Some hybrid stuff. Its now done as of today(10-16-06) but hopefully it will be soon. I am trying to replicate DR's original Gen 2 Hybrid but with higher pressure capiblities. The chamber as of now is a 1" x 6" Galvinized pipe nipple. It uses a 1" Black union. Almost all of the parts are from the electronics flea market by my house. The are used and may contain cancer-causing chemicals but who cares. If i had bought ALL the parts from McMaster-Carr I would have a 1500 dollar hole in my wallet. All the stainless fittings(silver) and brass(gold) are rated to at least 3000 PSI.

This is the control side of the instrimentation.
The parts are labeled as folows:
A. 2.5" 0-100 Psi guage for measuring the pressure in the water/mixing tank.
B. Hose Barb for connecting chamber plumbing to the water/mixing tank.
C. Shattay 1-60 PSI guage for regulating how much is being put in the chamber.
D. High Pressure Quick Disconnect for repairs.
E. 10000 PSI shut off needle valve. Shuts off the chmaber system from the other plumbing.
F. Watts 0-300 PSI regulator. Good for nothing but this.

A view from the top!

List of stuff:
A. 2.5"¯ 0-100 Psi Gauge.
B. Regulator and 60 PSI gauge.
C. 10000 PSI Needle Valve
D. 7"¯ 0-3000 PSI gauge for max pressure.
E. A make-shift release from a hydraulic connect, 6500 Psi.
F. 6000 Psi Parker check valve.
G. Just a ½" x ¼"¯ Reducer

Picture of the giant gauge. Some what blurry.

Shot it yet? Looks pretty nice, how is your ignition rigged up through metal?
