Here's the skinny on my latest cannon.
Its about 40" of 10" pipe with really thick walls(weighs 60 pounds) rated for 150 psi.
Right now it just has a bbq sparker and a computer fan but I have a hole drilled for propane and such.
Any suggestions for a damage shot?
The video doesn't do justice to the noise. A neighbor about a half mile down the street said he heard it. I'm not sure how high it goes but maybe I could find out from the hangtime somehow. The end is some plywood screwed into the 1/2 inch walls with some rubber hose to make a seal. The only concern I have for a damage shot is if the target is too hard the ball could explode.
anyway....most likely the basket ball would only explode if you shot at a target with higher resistance than the ball's shell can handle...so don't shoot at cement, or anything sharp lol...just stick with the air shots and maybe some plywood....unless you don't care about ruining the ball, all your choice.
