You don't need a compressor, you just need to cut off the female shrader on a bike pump, attach a threaded hose barb, and screw a quick connect on to that. What's so hard about that? It takes less than 30 minutes.

Isn't this easier;
1. Get the correct type of schrader from the local car tire store for $1.
2. Drill a hole and install the valve.
3. Use the standard tire filling chuck that came with the compressor. (Or the un-modified bicycle pump that you were going to ruin.)

i have a brass schrader valve to 1/4 npt that i have on my large pneumatic and i got it at ace hardware, or go to les schwab and get a screw in valve stem simple as that, i use my valve stem on my combustion for my propane injection and it works like a champ

You can buy 1/4" or 1/8" schrader valves already made....their used for water pressure tanks for well pumps.......................Just drill hole in what ever and tap the hole for 1/4" 0r 1/8"....................Clean and simple salute

You can get concealed fit schraeder valves for use in alloy wheels which also work really well and they put almost all of the valve body INSIDE the chamber with only the threaded portion sticking out.

ok i like this idea but i use a gas test gauge and it is sweet

it is a Schrader valve and it only costs $4.61 for one that goes up to 100psi and you can buy different gauges for it that go up to 300psi

what is the outlet side size? ie 1/4 or 1/2 npt?
