I have been testing sch40 abs in a pneumatic up to 110 psi for many shots, and it works beautifully, It's also more tolerant of cold weather, a definite plus in canada

Possibly it is pressure-rated ABS? I know it exists; If so, then yes, pressure-rated ABS is a better option than pressure-rated PVC.

I personally have never seen pressure-rated ABS in the USA, so whatever

I saw our local council laying some main water pipes and it was ABS pipe and it would have been 30cm in diameter and the wall would have been 4cm thick.I dont no much about water mains but im guessing they have high pressure. So i guess pressure rated ABS pipe must be avaliable.
