Pic Description: This is i phumatic metal air cannon. The barrel is a 1 inch steel pipe (sch 40) with a 1 inch ball valve (400 psi air max) it has a reservoir
made from different sizers (small reservoir due to weight) i useualy shoot this at 100 pis due to my compressor max psi but i due use a nitrogen tank with a regulator at 300 psi but have to make my own ammo for it due to potatos disinigrating. The ammo is a 1 inch dowl rod with duct tape rapd around it for a sabot. (will upload pics next)

PS. I call this a air cannon because i have gotten bord with potatos and don't shoot them anymore.

PPS. this gun cost over $100 but i payed nothing due to my freinds father owning a welding a pipeing supply store.

hey, i am just wondering a couple of things

1. how much did this cannon cost

2. what psi does this baby go to

3. why didn't you use a sprinkler valve

Sam: All the questions are answered in the post. Most sprinkler valves only go to 150 psi or lower

this will cost about $120 with new parts but most of this was used parts lieing around my friends shop. i fun it usualy at 150 psi but for real heavy shot i use 300psi (compressed nitrogen) but i don't sugest it because the valve can seely do 150. and i dont use a sprincler valve because they cant hold enuff psi.
