The other day, my wife was going to bake a pie and asked me to go outside and collect pecans. Me, being naturally lazy, didn't want to throw a rope into the tree. What I did do, was grab my pneumatic and pack rocks into it and shoot the nuts from the tree. It worked great (except for when they came down).
Before that, I constructed the Klog Killa to clear a clog.
It seems to me that these things have many other uses other than just breaking stuff. What do you guys think. |

The only "useful" manner in which I've used my launchers is a barrel full of water to clear wasps' nests without damaging the house - other than that it's just been gleeful punching holes in stuff |

| other than a beta carotene delivery system or planting potatoes they surely have no real use. truly i would love to see one used to stuff a turkey at thanksgiving or possibly one used to pass the peas or even the gravy. maybe one could use a JSR design valve to remove corns or warts. possibly a small mini combustion for quicker barium enema. just imagine the saturday afternoon Ron Popeil(ronco) infomercials if they truly had other purposes. |

I wasn't talking about commercial use. I was speaking of the creativity of a spudgunner's mind under pressure, or curiosity. For instance, in my Klog Killa (linked above), I didn't expect it to bust up the clog like it did, but it worked. I've also heard about tennis ball launchers used to assist in setting up antennas.
These devises have lots of other uses (again, not referring to commercial use...maybe industrial ). |

Technically I'm not killing the wasps, just rendering them homeless

T-shirt launching, birdstrike testing and even avalanche control, I even saw a pneumatic advertised in the UK to launch bait while fishing - with a bit of imagination, there are lots of uses. |

Don't know about you, but I have a feeling the Government aren't sending the wasps no FEMA trailers |

*bows*
Thankyou, I'm here all week
on a sidenote, since I've gone and brought race into it how about an ethnicity survey? It would seem that most spudders here (myself included) are white caucasians, I wonder if that's a correct assesment and if so, what the reason is. |
