pretty much, the ones that look sandblasted will be a little looser, and silicone spray lube normally adds a few fps as well... bouncy balls in type k 1" copper are D@mn snug....

If you make a nest out of several sheets of paper towel, you can launch eggs quite far. I used my large cannon with the tennis ball barrel and relatively low pressure. Eggs break at about 20 PSI. I was at an egg drop event and tossed an egg up over the building and onto the roof of the next building.. Oops. A nice white egg is pretty aerodynamic and flies far.

get a short secion of pipe that is the same diamiter as your barrel. Use duct tape to cover the one end. Then fill it up ith fiberglass resin (this can be purchased at walmart or home depot). Drop some washers and small bolts in while it is wet. Allow it to cure for a few days. I have never tried it but it should work pretty well.

for my 1 1/2" barrel i found a bunch of 1 1/2" washers and i welded them on a polebarn nail every 1/4" till their was about 2" of the nail still bare then i put it in a small piece of 1 1/2" pvc and sprayed spray foam inbetween the washers and put a 8" piece of ribbon on the back and it flys very good

you could try decreasing the spacing between washers twords the front to make the front denser that way you'd get straighter flight so it would hit the target tip first

2 inch pressure pvc end cap goes right into a 2.5 barrel (tape needed) but boy watch out this thing is strong i bet you can launch one of these at a brick wall and it will still survive

It does fly stable without any fornt weight added i laucnhed this thing least 300m (1000ft) with the Excaliber cannon http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/8-ft-spudgun-aka-excaliber-t19151.html

Note: This ammo will need some weight to increase it's interia so that
it can cut through wind better can also hav more destructive power Twisted Evil

here's some compound rounds that are .5" steel balls and yellow wirenuts heat shrinked to them for better accuracy(see magnus effect)... and finally pictures of the empty .40case/wirenut rounds that I've mentioned on several occasions...

The wirenuts and heat shrink are cheap and the shell casings are free, The local P.D. saves them for me when they go to the range... And the balls are 25usd per 550...

Wow, How do you make those casing darts. Are those 40 smith and wesson casings I have a lot of those that I can't reload. Kind of funny but the better higher pressure casing in .40 wont reload as well as the normal brass ones.

I will post pictures of my special zip tie darts as soon I get the camera working.

1" bouncy balls, lol. I bought 400 1" super balls off Ebay for $20.00 shipping included. They fit in Sch 40 pressure rated PVC nicely. Alot of fun to shoot into groups of tree's, like the ball in a pinball machine! Razz

Sorry I forgot to mention some of the details...

They fit .5" type L copper...

The casing rounds are .40S&W casings(that can't be reloaded safely because the chambers for these rounds are too unsupportive) merely pressed onto yellow fastenal/buchanen wirenuts(higher quality wirenuts don't work as well)...

here's one step farther, take a 6mmx10mm allen head screw, chuck it into a drill and take it to a point with a grinder(unchuck it into some oil while it's still hot), then use heat shrink to attach it to the casing/wirenut combo, and to maintain alignment and concentricity put a second layer of heatshrink on it... From 50yds it will punch a 1/2" hole through a steel dumpster and makes a huge shower of sparks on the backside....

@jrrdw= the decimater turns 1" bouncy balls into thousands of tiny pieces of bouncy schrapnel when fired at hard objects... but in my 1" pvc coaxiel, I'll shoot them into a just emptied dumpster and they bounce for a loooooong time...

I have a couple recent (today) marshmallow damage pictures. Enjoy. A beat up bucket got a couple of rounds from a couple feet away. Marshmallows made nice round holes in the bucket. A used pop can was filled with water and shot from a couple feet away.

Only marshmallows were used for ammo.
