I won as well, with my first post as verified by jrrdw's reply that since we planted last year and hops are a perinneal <-- (spelling) rhizome we never have to replant them but we do have to tend them and we are growing this year and will be growing next year and the next as long as this hop shortage in WA continues we'll be growing. So asking him if that counts makes my first post a winner. My second post asking him what the hell he has up his sleeve I think makes that post a loser hell i dont know

My question made perfect sense, and the reason I ask the question was important to me. "how tall are you" isn't important to me, but to the author it must have been important to him for him to ask.

So, are you upset that I ask? Or because of the reason I ask?

Had I not said why/what I was asking for, you would have a different thought about it.

you got answers like that because this thread looked like yet another off-topic discussion...
this kind of test would make sense if you asked some serious question - like "What threads do fire extinguishers have" or something like that.. then it would make sense to say that X% of posts didn't have anything to do with the question you had asked...

when you make a 'research' you have to consider all the different factors involved... your test didn't proved that ~50 % of people give anwers that have nothing to do with the questions.. it proved that you will get all kinds of answers if you start thread that looks like "hey I am bored lets discuss some random topic"
