hey guys im an Aussie and i was thinking about getting my air rifle license at the end of this year. i was wondering if you get a bb sniper under the same classification as an air rifle. Cos i was thinking of buying one off the american sites and i think it may have been ajdevi92 said that you can get one with just a normal air rifle license it this right?

It depends on the type of firing system it uses.If it's semi-auto,fully auto,pump action etc.A semi auto/fully auto you would not be allowed to own unless you acquired a special licence(which rules out airsoft) although with a class A licence(air rifles) you should be able to purchase and import nearly most types of air rifles.But these rules are subject to change from different States and Territories,so give the Firearms registry a call or send them a E-mail.

in Queensland i believe you can buy single shot airsoft guns. Take a look at Airsoft Australias website, just google it

It's not so,it's common for people to believe you can own a single shot air soft gun in Queensland but the laws strictly prohibit it.
