Why are you turning the barrel down? Theres a store pretty close to where I live that sells all sorts of different sizes of those camlocks, so I just used 3in fittings and then a bushing to go down to 2in. There was some extra space between the barrel and the fitting so I slit another piece of 2in down the middle to sleeve in there. Works great, even though its not the most attractive solution.
