I saw the floor pump, you could probably take it to 300 while jumping on it, i do that with mine, and it stilll hasent broken, the bar is plastic.
plus, its 7$ more expensive, therefore better |

Shock pumps are incredibly dificult to pump, as you get no leverage what so ever. To make up for this they have you pump a tiny volume, so it takes ages to get any pressure at all (i pumped my 2'x1.5" chamber with 200+ strokes and it didn't even show up on the gauge) Also, with such a small flow you get tired really quickly.
In short, go for the floor pump, it is a million times better, and you can most likely go higher with it by jumping. The silencer...is crap.
They're NOT supposed to have holes on the outer shell. That just kills the whole concept |

I know JSR gets away with a shock pump, but most of his projects are quite small.
Floor pump it is |

| Well, I do know that you can get a refridgerator coolant pump to work for you. Costs hardly anything at your local junkyard, and supposedly gets to around 400psi. Its extremely quiet too. |

| I'm struggling to find one, people sell them for like $100 and the ones at the junkyard aren't allowed to be removed and are usually broken. Remember the compressor is usually the first thing to break. |

Shipping was only $7.50
Great site, can't believe it's Kiwi
Good news that it sounds like it's lasting and works well. Thanks. |

At the office, we've got a couple of these....
...I highly recommend them. They work GREAT! 480 cfm to 3000 psi. What's not to like?
Oh, you meant for home use?

LOL, what does that cost, 20 grand?
EDIT: @Mr.Crowley: Well, it seems that you have already found a deal that you like, but I saw some on ebay for $20. Don't know if there is any suppliers near you. About the pumps, sometimes people throw the fridge or freezer away bc the coolant is too low and they think its broken. That is how the guy in a tutorial I read got one. But I don't remember where it was from. |

Try 400 grand. Each.
edit: and to answer the question of how big.... See the building to the north of the road on this page? That building holds 2 of 'em. That's the ONLY thing(s) in the buildings. And it's cramped in there. |

Haha now that would be awesome, an underground pipe system to all the spudders on the forum, supplied by D_Hall. We just open the valve and 'tap' into the supply of 3000psi |
