I have tryed to make a camera flash ignition, but i can't get it to work properly.
I have follow the guide at this site, but it say i need a coil.
What is a coil and what does it do? Is there some way i can make an ignition without it?

hope someone can help.

the "coil" is an ignition coil which basically makes the voltage high enuf so that it will jump a spark gap. I can't make it jump the gap without it but you get a pretty cool spark if the 2 electrodes touch so i based one of my guns on this princapal. Basically just pushing one screw down into another Very Happy
