-Idea: 10; it's a good idea, but similar things have been done. Unfortunately we have little evidence of how well it works.
-Use of materials: 2; Extremely ghetto. It's a shame a very good concept didn't get the materials to match, though I do understand you had time constraints and the likes.
-Creativeness: 6; Not bad for a "parts gun"- you pulled off a good working design with what you had around.
-Quality of build: 2; Again, limited by the materials used.
-Function: 3; I'll leave this at what the judges said because I really don't know if/how well it works. In fact, I'll say around a '3' simply because there's no reason it shouldn't work. |

for me it's an uber creative design - much more creative than other contestants
so it's kind of sad that this gun can't compete with the rest but it's the most creative (of course IMO only)... while at the same time penetration contest allows PVC only
As I said earlier I am surprised that it worked... there are just too many things on this that can go wrong... so if it did work I am really impressed |

I ditto Poland and btb, really if this is truly an Innovative contest then this gun should win. The idea of an innovation isn't to look good but to work. If the builder had only added a video of this working I think that he should win, and that by far.
I think that the builder should be trusted, and if he is, then this is most probably the most impressive cannon I have ever seen in terms of Auto cannons.
Truly a pity, that you didn't have a video or some more time...Personally if a re-evaluation would be possible I would think that it would only be fair. Otherwise I suggest a contest in the winter(feb 2010?), and would recommend the builder to stay un named and to then work on his design to then win that contest, he deserves it! |

Its really unfortunate that the builder can't get a vid up to compete on even terms - but this is the internet so it didn't happen unless there is proof. |

This was probably the most innovative cannon in the contest, although TITS was a close second. With a video and maybe a diagram, this probably would have won.
great job! |

D*mn shame this one's out already...
Makes sense,
although once polished up a bit it could be a serious entry next year! |

| It appears that this particular launcher has been on a lot of people's mind for this Community Project. I would like to present this as the first CP, but I would like it more if the builder would give me permission to do so. |

Looking closer, I would like to cast my vote on this gun, if I could...
It is a really innovative mechanism. Poorly performed, but at least it did leave us with a great idea to produce future guns.
I demand a recount! |
