it wont be semi auto with a hammer valve either

It will if you have a double action trigger. Can you get a revolver cap gun? If so you could conceivably cut it up and have it hammering on the inflator stem (the part under the trigger that I'm holding above), that will give you a burst of gas per trigger pull that would work great with a tee magazine. It would probably not be that pretty, but it would work Wink

Ive got an old 357 Blank gun( metal), might be able to use it?,I'll try get a pic up Cool

Wow Jack, I must say you have stepped up your video quality. Gone are the days with posts with crappy sound and overall quality err um i mean nice gun.
Have you tried making a magazine similar to your blow forward? Although it would seem that you would have to find a way to make that work without blowing up your magazine.

On that note, what size co2 cartridges are those. they seem to be a bit larger in size than the standard 12 gram. Perhaps you could do further modification to the valve so that it would allow more flow.

Nothing is sacred Wink

In the words of that miserable Scotsman,

Quote:
Nothing matters. We're essentially all highly evolved monkeys clinging to a rock that's falling through space, and the rock itself is dying.

Anyway, back on topic:

I've shelved this idea, I have an HPA tank - why should I be fiddling with inflators, let the poor students figure it out Razz Very Happy

Yes, I just got a raise Very Happy

I was thinking about something like the attached diagram, ball valve fed HPA strafer... with the ball valve handle replaced with a pinion gear, and a larger gear attached to the trigger, meaning that for a small movement of the trigger there will be a larger movement of the valve. It also means that the trigger will require a lot more force to open (plus the return spring it will need) but the gain in performance should be worthwhile. I have a couple of 1/4" and 1/8" ball valves that have remarkably low friction (in fact I'm saving one of the latter for the sentry gun) but I like the overkill use of a 1/2" valve, plus the ASA threads on the tank fit nicely in 1/2" BSP (as used in the HPA Rattlesnake)

As part of the sentry gun project I hqave one of these on the way, so a compact "sleeve gun" with the tank hidden elsewhere is also a possibility Smile

i suggested two ideas. one being the t magazine in the page where he asked for help and ideas. i never have the time to put my own creations on here and im not sure how. plus im still tinkering with the piston valve. kinda a newbie in pneumatics and such construction wise

This is very simmilar to something I posted on a site called www.rotteneggs.com

What I usually use is rubber tubing between the two tubes, taped up with sticky string tightened around the rubber.

In the first diagram you can see a barrel, and a tube that holds the BBs.
