Very Happy She gave me two beautiful kids.

Oh I got the bb's.1500 of them.
I'll be testing them today, they are a perfect fit.And they are noticable heavier than the plastic ones...

dounle post, but so what..
I tried the bb's and frankly, I liked the airsoft ones better.

The lead ones seem to pack about the same punch.Shot the same can and pierced it three times.
I made a prototype strafer once that really cut up a steel can with only 20 bar and a sloppy fitting barrel.
So I don't really get why this one doesn't.
Must be a flow problem. The outlet of the CO2 bottle is really small.
I tried cutting down dead space, even removed the back section and results did go up, but I don't like it that way.

The rate of fire went up incredibly the fist seconds, but the power didn't.

I could try with CO2, or make my own reservoir with higher flow..
But for now I'm tempted to put the airsoft barrel back in.

try going with a longer barrel, ROF won't decrease with a longer barrel.

The reason I would go with a longer barrel is because you have such a high pressure that increased barrel length will actually increase your velocity.

There is normally a sweet spot where your barrel is the right length for maximum velocity without creating too much friction. I don't think you have hit that sweet spot yet.

The surface area of these heavy bb's make it harder for them to get blown up.That's number one.
Number two is: the narrow outlet on the bottle means the small stream drops in pressure when it hits the bb's reservoir: or in a way expansion chamber.Meaning I get larger volume but less pressure.
That would not be so bad if the air did not have a bigger pathway out. It;s really hard to pressurise a vessel when the leak is bigger than your fill hole right?

This could be solved by using Unregged CO2. First off all, it;s kept at a higher pressure, and secondly, it gets spewed out of the bottle as a partly liquid cloud, so it holds greater volume of gas in a smaller stream.
That means I would dump more gas at once into the chamber, giving me more pressure.

Longer barrel is not possible at te moment.
It's not a bad gun, but I was hoping I could translate that high pressure into higher power shots.
I'll get a refill of CO2...

EDIT: I really should get a genuine rifled airgun barrel.Thet would require more pressure to push the projectile through.
The barrel I have now, I can use as a blowgun and shoot bb's with lungpower.
That might be the problem.
There is now way to install an O-ring, cause that might be your suggestion.

I'll do both.Barrel and unregged CO2..

yeah or get yourself new tank.. or make it youself... you would need 50 cm of 4" pipe... or something like that..
can you get a SCH80 pipe in netherlands, you know just to be sure that it can hold more pressure ?

IIRC, BTB can get 4" steel pipe wich can hold 30 bar

I'd rather get the bottle filled. It's easier.
I got the parts to rebuild the bb reservoir in 1"instead of the 3/4 I went with now.
It should be easier to build a vortex block in there to get the bb's to feed better.
I'm not completely happy with the elbow. It worked fine with the airsoft ones, but these are just too heavy for their surface area.

Anyway, I've put up a bid on a barrel and hope to get a reply soon.

If all fails I might put an inline snapvalve between the trigger and the reservoir inlet, to ensure I'll get at least 20 bar.
It is capable of delivering a hell of a burst, and it's downside, slow resetting, would not be a problem since I'll use constant flow and will cut off the flow with the trigger.
But that would require me to travel 100 kilometres to get suitable neoprene.
I'll keep going at it untill it is perfect anyway.
