Well I just realise that instead of using what ever brian is using, why not just use a co2 bike pump as your blowgun.

Great idea, and like many great ideas, already been done here - surprised that not many more people have done the same actually.

This creation caused me to waste 12 bucks on a thing that sprayed for half a second.. it did hort.. the effing cardridge froze to my hand.. >Sad

You serious? I hear it gets cold in the cartridge, but a friend of mine told me that you can get at least 3-4seconds of firing with 8g of co2 (not 12g, their expensive in Aus) He had this video where he burst fired it. It was pretty intense.

I would imagine performance would be similar to this, perhaps with less power and greater duration given the inflator's reduced flow in comparison.

@Django: I haven't been online for a while.I answered your PM, but in this thread I read you are wondering what fittings I used.
They are 8mm compression fittings.Without the cap they have 1/4" threads on 'em.

I have been busy with my 2" porting steel piston valved 3" bore cannon.
It will fire....confetti!!
My brother is going to get some welding done on the thing.
It's gonna be pretty much an overkill Overkill ( Very Happy ) with comparable reservoirvolume.
Tell you one thing...That valve is HUGE.It could take up to 30 bar so...I'm gonna have some fun with it too..

About the CO2 tire thingy...If it has less flow ( well I'm sure it does) it will most likely last longer, but be less powerfull.
I'm not interested in that.
It would make a " normal" bbmg portable though.
The bulb gets very cold, but not the rest.
Still I recommend metal for the body.

I'm not your little manservant you know...

It's not excactly a cloud, and not really a vortex-style, more inbetween

What really sets it apart is the high pressure input.
