The CO2-tank on this gun has 3/4" pipethreading. Don´t use paintball-CO2-tanks they can explode when you put highpressure air in then.
The valve is brass. The barrel is steel. Got to get back to work now. |

Would make a safe chamber for a hybrid or something. |
Omg,i was thinking that yesterday,ha,ya i was thinking about using it in a pneumatic though. It would be a pain for me to drill for a shrader though. |

| paintball co2 tanks can explode with high pressure air? ummm no. how could you possibly pressurize air high enough to make it explode without spending thousands of dollars on a compressor that can pump out psi in the thousands? |

| It´s not the pressure it self which is dangerous it´s the tanks inner coating or something that is flammable in contact with pressurized air. The tanks are rated for 200 bar with CO2, not oxygen. This was told to me by the guy selling these (why would he lie?). |

Don´t think so. He could have said nothing and made a sale of 100$. So you see he lost money since I had to go elsewhere. |

The tank on the picture is a CO2 1kg tank. You get smaller tanks for paintballguns and slightly lager ones from small fire extinguisher. The fire extinguishers are 1´´ treded.

Oh my god what a load of crap!
CO2 is stored ( for the most part) as a liquid at around 50-60 Bar.
Depending on temperature. The bottles are made to handle that pressure
Air can be stored at 300 BAR, as it is in scuba tanks.Air is compressed into a liquid form at that pressure,( around room temperature.)
Imagine what would happen if you fill a bottle that is meant to hold CO2 with HPA at 300 bar???
CO2 bottles are not meant for that kind of pressure.
You first speak of air, then oxygen.
Iron can rust, in other words oxydize.Pure oxygen would do the same but quite a bit faster.I am not sure if this could cause an explosion but it might.
What will cause an explosion in contact with HP- Oxigen would be rubber seals and certain lubricants.
So forwardthinking...The guy didn't exactly lie, he was just talking out of the wrong side of his digestive system a bit !!He mixed some things up...or maybe you did... |

| So does that mean the fire extinguisher I was using is busy being oxydized on the inside? I think there was rust but I put loads of oil in it. I filled it with water once. |

| I did the same with mine, fill it with water. I just empyted a bigger one and filled it with water. The small one I have looks like it is lined with stainless. Do you think I should still use it?! |
