Not trying to put anyone's ideas down, it's good to dream but there are practical considerations too. I just gave my 2 euro cents worth, nothing to stop anyone trying to prove me wrong though ;p

K, no offense taken. I think I could get it to work, given some extra RC gears. Smile

If you going to make this gun, I would make the wheels out of the scroll knob of a mouse. I used them for a RC mous Very Happy , they have allot of grip.

Problem: if you use two motors, there is no way to guarantee they will be spinning at the same speed. If one is spinning faster than the other, your gun will shoot sideways.

there won't be a problem because if both motors are hooked up on the same battery pack it the energy "should" spin at the same speed no matter what.

Problem: Though in wargames i would only turn the thing on when i'm in a shoot out. And there's one big problem i think is that the motor will over heat. And if I wanted to sneak up on someone, I'm developing a BB glove gun repeater, and that's silent until u shoot it.

The only problem which lays here is of the quality of the RC motor.
if it was hopper fed automatic, what is the ROF people reckon?

Trust me on this one. The design is very practical. It's very useful for close combat especially. The rate of fire on mine was extremely fast. If designed well you could theoretically exceed the rof of a vortex. However, 30 rps is the fastest I could get on mine using only gravity to feed. Another bonus of this design, the gun, assuming you use powerful motors, can never jam. It'll take bb's and spit 'em out just as fast as you can cram into it. My design using two motors in an under over setup, purposely had a stronger motor on bottom that had a larger current draw. It added hopup that I got right on the first try. As far as fps it was enough for people to say "ow!" and run away. Hard to determine what that is but anything under 240 doesn't hurt for me. But this isn't a long range gun. It barely makes a medium range gun. Howver, the gun does have an area denial spread that makes it very intimidating to come up against in a skirmish. Revving it can deter an offensive from making an advance. But all in all, it's more of a psychological weapon than anything.
