I bought a 6000 rpm electric motor today for $3.50. Then I cut the end off a 1" dowel and cut it to the shape at the bottom and drilled a hole the same size as the motor's rod thing and stuck it on. The motor fits well inside 1" SCH 40, and the wheel and 1" fit inside 1 1/4" SCH 40. Turning on the motor and just dropping BBs in spits them out all over my room too fast to see. Portable and non-bulky BBMG once I make a body and put a barrel on. Twisted Evil

Yes except that it's not a discussion, it's done. I turned the motor on and dumped a tube full of BBs in and sprayed my brother from ~20 feet.

Yeah I am going to make it out of either solid Delrin or PVC sheet. It's that shape because the wood is crappy and the other two things sticking out broke off. Laughing

Make it out of metal so it pings when firing!
Try using a dremal instead of that motor!

why would he use a dremel when he has a motor that works fine? the only good thing about a dremel is you can adjust the speed

A dremel would provide 30,000 RPM instead of +/- 6000 RPM

I just looked at the package and it's actually 9200 rpm and it's supposed to get hooked up to 1.5-3 volts. So I had to hook it up to a 9V battery and Jesus does it go! It actually sun so fast ( I'm not making this up) that when I poured the BBs on top through a tube they shot out so fast from the impact that it left little dents in my closet door and broke off another section of the BB wheel thing. The 9V battery has easily doubled the rpm, you can tell by just listening to it.

I hooked up 36volts to a tamiya(sp?) car motor, trust me it doesn't sound healthy for the motor.

yeah the nine volt will make it spin alot faster but its definately not good for the motor! i wouldnt run it for long periods of time with the 9v if i were you. just short bursts
