With "glue" you mean primer + cement I hope?
Good luck! Be patient.

That doesn't look very secure.
There is only glue holding it in the hole and no threads or nut attaching it.
Obviously you didn't take jimmy101's advice(or others').
Not very important in this case but also you could've drilled through two layers of pvc just behind where it's mounted.
Be careful incase it blows out of there.
It could hit you and you could get burned by gas.
Well each build/accident is a learning experience IMO.

Ditto Thunderlord! Spray, dab some epoxy in that gap around the ignitor.
Have you shot this thing yet?

| DWV parts don't matter on regular spray and pray combustions. When you make hybrids, pneumatics or advanced combustions then you must use pressure rated parts. There is no two ways about it.

Maybe if you put a small hose clamp around the ignitor that will sturdy it up?
Maybe plug that hole it's going into somehow.
It's not nessesary to have the whole body of the ignitor in there.
It could be repaired still or may work fine as it is.
Just saying, for the future, That's not the best(or safest) way to mount the ignitor.
BTW, It's not cool to blame stuff on your dad.

Now that it's finished and you've shot it, this should be in "Showcase"(for combustions) maybe.
Or you could wait until you finish your next one and post it there?
Just put a few pics and specs (barrel chamber, ignition etc.) and description.
BTW If you put it in showcase please don't write, "this is how I mounted the ignition 'cause my dad..."
You're lucky to have a dad who's supportive of your spudding (IMO).
EDIT: LOL, I was watching "Squidbillies" last night and...
