You can use Microsoft's Image Resizer Powertoy to resize one or multiple images. You need Windows XP to install it.
If you have Win XP, you also have Microsoft Paint 5.1. Earlier versions cannot save images using JPEG compression, only RLE and (I think) GIF.
For various converting and viewing purposes, I recommend XnView. Be sure to also install XnView Shell Extention, which adds a thumbnail, "Convert To..." and other utils to the click 2 menu in Explorer and other OLE compatible software.

In a related story... perhaps someone should split this topic.

well, a fire burning in the resiviour would melt the chamber, and light you on fire

I wouldn't be too concerned about the fuel in the reservoir catching, regardless of how full it was.

consider this, the fuel (for whatever reason) starts coming out of the barrel at a slower rate and because the barrel is no longer saturated with fuel the flame can now come in. providing there wasn’t a blockage in the barrel you could simply open the reservoir again and increase flow which would push the flaming liquid out of the barrel.

Now assume it made it into the reservoir. Depending on the fuel you might consume all your fuel before you run into any problems. Else you would have a flashover in the tank that would consume all the O2 in the chamber and snuff the fire instantly (this scenario would be the most likely thing to happen providing the fire got access to the tank).

If I had a flashover in my tank I'd close the valve going to the tank, back away from the gun and let it sit for several hours before touching it or moving it. When a flash over occurs there’s a huge opportunity for explosion. If any O2 comes in contact with the inside of the chamber there will be a large explosion called a back draft.

A back draft occurs when a fire burnt very fast in a sealed environment. It means that it burnt so fast it consumed all the O2 in the room but wasn’t done burning. So now the fire is sitting there with two of the three points of the fire triangle: Fuel and Heat. Adding O2 will result in immediate and violent combustion.

cops will most certainly frown upon the far throwing of large and hot flames, maybe if its a chill cop or you're a real fast talker you could get away with it.
