First off, this isn't meant to be some sort of fascist segregtation exercise, spuds will fly out of your barrel regardless of your background and skin colour so that's not important. I just though it would be interesting to see, since we've already had a "where are you from" poll.
The options are based on US census criteria, since most members here are from the states and the US has a very mixed ethnic makeup.
Edit: if you select "other", it would be nice to specify, though of course feel free to keep it to yourself.

I don't know, there's the middle east which is a bit of a grey area, plus for example when we think Asian it's ususally Japanese that comes to mind but say someone from Pakistan would also fall under this category. Perhaps I should have limited it to white/black/asian?

I'm not so sure about countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh etc as they have many ethnicities. Same with middle eastern countries too.

Well i am a bit of a mongrel I have English, German and Native Australian (Aboriginal- even though the word means "Native to ones country of birth"). My family tree can be traced to the first white settlement of Australia, the First Fleet with Captain Cook and a lot of convicts! A little known fact is that Australia's first Police squad consisted of twelve of the most well behaved prisoners.
