Yep, it's nice if you don't want to grow any facial hair, but a pain if you do.
I can get away with shaving once a week without looking bad by the end of the week, but if I had a job or something that needed me to look good I would probably go with twice a week. Without trimming it in over 8 months, the hair on my chin is probably about 1.5" when stretched out and the hair on my upper lip is about 3/8". And it is all really thin and pretty light in color for facial hair so it doesn't look very long at all.
Plus there are some places that it doesn't really grow at all. I would probably look a bit like Joe Dirt if I just let it grow for awhile.
"Now, you're telling me you were so ingrained with white trash DNA, your facial hair actually grows in on its own all white trashy like that?"

I'm White and Asian but really I'm white I don't act sound or look Asian besides dark hair however you can associate me with white stereotypes which helps so I don't get picked on for being a little antisocial or nerdy cause people are scared of antisocial white boys who build guns

As far as I know, I'm 100% white...And a 100% Dutch
But Holland has been under spanish, french and german rule is the past centuries so what do I know.
All I know is our "founding father" William of Orange, ancestor of our royal family was a GERMAN!
He could not speak a word of Dutch!!!
Robbed us of a national identity right from the start!! MUHAHAHA
We aint nothing but Germans in denial! |

AFAIK, 7/8ths English, 1/8th Welsh - but the red hair is a clear indicator of Norse heritage, part of the reason for the Viking user name. My parents have both compiled fairly extensive family trees, so I could look at those to find out more accurately, but as far as my loose knowledge goes, one Great Grandmother was welsh - another lived to 103, just too short for her and I to have been alive simultaneously (thing is my family seem to have children later in life than most, past 30 on average)
There is a nice genetic tendency for long life spans, but the real genetic bummer in my family is a tendency for the males to start to go deaf in later life.
That's passed down my father's side, I may get lucky and escape it but it's still luck of the dice, so I'm taking all the care I can now to have my hearing last as long as possible - ear defenders or plugs when around loud noise (especially launchers), no ridiculously loud music, etc. |
