Spot on! That's exactly the way I talk when I'm being condescending too 
I honestly don't see the pros of macs. Every single problem I've had with Windows PCs have been caused by third party software. Macs don't have problems with third party software because nobody codes it. I've heard some ex-mac enthusiasts say the actual operating system fails them more often than official Windows stuff.

| ya you probably heard that in like '84 when macs came out. macs systems never fail. and i run a load of stuff including Final Cut Express HD, iMovie HD, iWeb and just about every other high-end or i software. they have never failed and load, run, save, and just do everything fast and easy.

Specialist- is that your jeep in your avatar? My best friends uncle has a 83 jeep wrangler, with a 3" lift, a HIGE winch on the front, and some knobby mud tires, its vhurry niace. It seems to me that nomatter what kind of trucks people prefer, be it Chevy, Ford, or the Not-So-Hot Dodge, that most people can all agree on one thing, They like Jeeps.
My friend printed off some 90 page long report as to why macs are better than PC's but idont believe it, mostly because everything i use computers for, macs cant run, IE. games, ggdt(duh), most other software. Yes i am aware that macs can now run windows, 'thus making them the ultimant machine' but i never liked apple or mac, mostly because they go for looks over functionality.

i dont like jeeps, they are pretty crap off road, im more of a land rover guy!!
 they kill wranglers off road any day

| For all intents and purposes, the new landrovers are mostly rich soccermom SUV's, atleast in the USofA, I dissagree, jeeps preform very well offroad, you ever driven one?

i doubt that land rover is too good off-road. land rovers from like '90 and up are supposed to be excellent off-road.
redneck- no, its not my jeep but i do like it. macs do have a lot of looks but they have (in my opinion) very good functionality (sp?). they are very compact. their desktops are like large laptops with great performance and a stand to hold it up. thats the nice part. they dont need (but its optional for an extra $1500) a tower. they are very portable. like if a tornado is coming its so easy to grab it and put it in my basement. btw i have an imac. and a 90 page report? i think i could do about 20 max pages of macs vs. pcs and 4 for macs alone.
spaner- wranglers are considered and pretty well proven to be the top off-road vehicles. they are most common, durable, and compact which is great for light trails.
the best old school off-roaders have to be in my opinion a '78 jeep cj7, a '75 chevy C-10 (my dad had a beauitiful '75) and an '83 ford bronco. dodges suck and i hate them. they all have tranny problems. "end car rant"

@specialist- no my friend didnt write the report, he just printed it off the internet. you got any pics of your dads C-10?? id love to see them. The only things that dodge can do good are their big trucks, 3500 and larger, and of course these.
@mark- darn, this whole time i thought fat-man and little boy were the reasons we won WWII. [/sarcasm]

ya i have like three pics of it. its probably gana be crappy because they arent digital so ill have to take a pic of the pic and put it on the thread. the C-10 is awesome no rust nice rims. he had a van with nice rims to and i THINK he put them on his truck. its blue. ill get pics soon like now.

you could just scan the pics. unless ofcourse you dont have a scanner, because i havent heard of an iscan yet, so maybe you should just take a pic of the pic.

-Mac's are OK. Their not as popular, thus not as user friendly with various software since most stuff is made for Windows.
-Mac's do have viruses, it is just much less common because not very many people use mac's. I have been doing computer work for years, and out of all of my years I have only seen 1 person with a mac notebook... that is the only mac I have ever put my hands on.
-Chevy rocks, even the Transformers (the new transformers movie) think Fords are evil
-With your refresh problem, it has to be on your end... especially if you use something side from Opera and it works fine. I have tried Opera before and the new Safari for windows, both of which had major problems with many websites other than SpudFiles. Not saying they are BAD browsers... but it appears that they need some work since about 10% of content I would try to view, would not work.
-IE7 & Firefox are good to use, they are the most popular as well. I personally use Firefox.
-My best suggestion for those who have issues with Opera and refreshing here is to look around for Opera help on their website. No one should ever have to hit refresh here just to see their post come up, and since it works for everyone else using IE and FF, it could only be a browser issue.
-If anyone still needs special help, PM me and I will try to help resolve your refresh issue.
