To be honest, I think that it have very bad power to weight ratio.I sugest that you use a little more powerfull propelents in that tick chamber.

i dont understand you, you mean the gun is 2 heavy comparing 2 the power?

I think if u use 1:1 Hydro Oxygen gas
Or special mixtures of propane/butane with pure oxygen i think this weapon will shoot far. Because of normal air is just 20% oxygen and the resting 80% nitrogen. So in in a combustion chamber with normal air you can just make 40% max 2 a explosive mixture. With pure oxygen you can make 100% explosive mixture.

I hope it works fine with normal air but if it dont,,,, im going 2 use pure oxygen.

That is very nice,is it a rifled barrel?Because if it isnt the scope wouldnt have much use unless using some type of darts where used as amo because of the flight path of the projectile.

Any chance of some damage pics, and how far does it shoot on average? What are the shells used for?ammunition perhaps? And what type of handgun in your first pic?

Don't use pure O2 at the first time.Use it with a remote ignition and then use a little less O2 rich mix when holding it with hand.About the power to weight ratio here is a link to very light gun with 0,5l metal chamber and bigger barrel http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1442&

Damn i tried serval times, just 1 lucky shot the bullet came somewhere 50 meters against a wall. Is very difficult getting the right mix into a tiny combustion chamber. Sad

I always used Hair Spray for my patato rifle cus it contains butane. How long do you guys spray in a tiny combustion chamber? But at the moment i only got deodorant in house. No .445 metal balls or patato/apple pieces.

But i got an second problem my bbq ignitor wich i use for the moment does not sprak always Confused

greets
