Nice! You got my vote! If I’m here for voting…
Just one thing, you said you got 20 tank kills, where’s the twenty marks on the side of the gun? You got that flat area around the break hinge, perfect area for kill marks. I’d go for either Roman numerals or swastikas.

thats (sic). i really like your break-barrel. does it leak at all at the barrel when you shoot? what exactly did you do for the break barrel? if you dont mind telling Wink . is it just a coupler? what ever it is i really like it.

Yeah about that Rolling Eyes The paint I used the first time around melted off when the paintball goo got on it.And I've been lazy and haven't put the marks on since I've repainted it.The barrel does have a union on it.I took a saw to it and cut it so as to make a clamp on the bushing. No it doesn't leak.I have a gasket on the bushing that seals against the barrel when it closes(the red thing under the union).

That's for aircraft, tank and anti-aircraft kills are traditionally maked by making rings around the barrel:

Nice gun btw goat Very Happy

Traditionally something which contrasts with the camoflauge, I've seen red, white and black depending on the theatre of operations.

I like it. Never seen a loading system of that design, apparently works well, yet simple in operation, and design. Although I might be scared that the pressure may break the fitting on the barrel over the course of time. Very clean construction, to bad that is bound to go under the wheel in scenario play.

I noticed you mentioned that you sealed the "breaking barrel" joint with a gasket, and I noticed it in the photograph. Is there a chance you have a photograph with a alternative perspective displaying the gasketed connection? I am interested in how you made the joint exactly. Mainly how the sealing face was attached, and positioned.

I never saw it mentioned, but I assume you use some sort of CO2 regulating system in game play? Just interested as to how that works out.

Nice build. I personally enjoy seeing new concepts simply, and effectively implemented.

Very Nice,

I love the break barrel loading technique.
You should really Modify that valve one day, saves $20 on batteries every month.

Other than that, great gun.
good luck.

Pimpman, got the pics. The union sees no pressure from the gun.It is simply there to hold the barrel in place. The gasket is a piece of 1/8" gasket material that was super glued to the bushing face.I trimmed it down to fit properly.
Skinner, batteries for me are better. The original model was modified but after it broke i went back to electronic.Since field owners are obsessed with safety the ability to have a safety on the gun is a must.Second and most important is the fact of the valve can be repaired when I'm out of state.Total modularity.

Co2 regulating system.Just a spare WGP stock regulator preset to 220psi. I used some leftover ASA's to bring it down to 1/8".The silver line attaches to a tire chuck with gauge.I have a quick disconnect coupler to plug into the gun and fill.

inside of union. You can see the small ridge poking out from the bottom of the union, this is the barrel.Rather than use the union to seal the barrel. The barrel pivots on the action and uses that for pressure against the gasket. The action is made out of glued marine plywood(not going to break anytime soon)
