Well I just finished building my new Harley Davidson; spudgun that is.
This thing is just so bad, it deserved a tough name. Dubbed the "Four Barrel Marauder" mainly due to the fact that without barrel it resembles the number 4, and I made four uniquely different barrels for it. It boasts a sleeved golf ball barrel, a tennis ball barrel, a 2" ported barrel, and a 3" t-shirt/candy, etc. barrel.
I used a 2" barrel sealing diaphragm valve with a 1" flow, piloted with a blowgun. They're relatively easy to make providing you do a little homework, and cost around $17 in parts sans the blowgun. I paid $15 for that alone, but it looks nice and functions well.
The gun consists of dual 3"x12" chambers. Everything is NFS-PW except the 3" couplings and the bushings inside them. With pressure rated pipe filling the holes I think it'll be fine. I'll post pictures of the barrels after paint, but for now enjoy the gun! -Lp

| Very nice gun. If you want to get a little more power out of it, use a 1.5" porting valve rather than a 1". The new valve will be just as cheap as your first one, and will give over 2X better performance

Thanks for the kind words.
My current compressor has a limit of 100psi, but I do have an electronic tire inflator that will take it higher. I find though, that 80psi is ideal, and provides substantial power. I was tinkering with the idea of a 1.5" port, I didn't want to go over 2" with the tee, and the 1" seemed to work well. I use a heavy duty neoprene seal that I cut to fit snug and only 'breathes' a small distance between the breech and the end cap, an equalization hole was also drilled. This being my second pneumatic, I wanted to go larger than the first as far as valve porting is concerned, on the first gun I only used 3/4's of an inch.
My next project will probably use something a little bigger, but this baby dumps some air! -Lp

| I didn't know the made bushings in DWV. Usually they are bell reducers in DWV.

| I assume since they make NSF-PW bell reducers then DWV bushings exist also

I like the firing mechanism, it looks nice. I'm new to this whole game of spudguns. Could i ask what is firing mechanism (the blue thing) and where did you get it? Thanks heaps
Also that wiki page is really helpful but i am having trouble understanding how the piston valve is incorporated into this gun i have read through this but still having a bit of trouble seeing how it fits into this?

Hey, hey relax a little bit! I don't want to defend anyone, but if someone wants to praise a good gun, let 'em! CC is not very *ahem* fourm smart, but at least cod has constructive critisism. Most of us have heard the "NO DEAD TOPICS" line. Not trying to start a flame.
BTW - Great gun, I LOVE the paintjob! I have a freind really into harleys, He would love to see something like this!

Hey all, it been a while since my last post!
Thanks for kind words that continue to come in. I just shot this gun for the first time in months, but it still looks and performs as good as it did when I first made it. -Lp
