Hey all! Thanks for the helpful posts on my previous post "Flak 88". Now I have come across another problem. I would like to Make a BBMG but I dont have a fancy Co2 tank, compressor or anything for a power source. Im going to a airsoft target practice, I wanted to make a powerful, but inexpensive Airsoft MG. Any instructions on how to make one that does not need a Co2 tank or Compressor would be prefered. If possible I oftened fancied the Idea of a insect sprayer...? All help appreciated.
Thanks

Well the thing about MG's is that they scoff air like nobodys business so it is pretty much essential to have a compressor or compressed gas source.
Most Airsoft MG's I've seen use springs (Automatic Electric Guns/AEG's) because gas gets ridiculous when you're firing thousands of rounds... unless you don't care about the cost.
I'd agree with singularity and say it would probably be better to make a sniper rifle if you're after using compressed air from a hand/foot pump. |

| Yeah there really isn't a way to do it without a continous suply of air. You could fill up a big tank with a bike pump. I think schmanman said he does this. The problem is it would take a while. |

| Id like to get a Insect sprayer and use that. If some how I could get a mechanism to feed pellets into it so that it can go as a machine gun. If someone could send me plans on how to turn a insect sprayer into a BBMG. Thanks all! Email plans if you could, italianstlni@aol.com. |

| I don't think the insect sprayer would work. 1 Because there isn't enough power. BBMG's are up to at least 80psi I would be surprised if an insect sprayer was up to 15. The hole wouldn't be big enough for bb's to get out. |

| Ya know a centrifical gun would be kind of cool. According to my math you can get it going at nice FPS. So if you want to be adventurous try to build one. Otherwise in your situation bike pump or CO2 powerletts for a gas supply. |

no, I do not, and have never said I do. I posted on a thread about that, but do not, just to set the record straight . you could not even get the piston on the swat gun to seal with a bike pump. I have a 25 gallon, 155 psi, 6 cfm at 40 psi, 4 cfm at 90 psi compressor. I would recommend a compressor for a cloud. |

| ypude be almost better off making a sniper one shot at a time airsoft gun if your on a teem ? you could become the sniper if you guys play tatical even lol. but yea you could bassicly make all your own weapons.. could have a sniper rifel and a mortar to give them covering fire. Im currently working on a new sniper bb airsoft gun for a member on my squad, im taking apart one of them old bb rifel guns and taking out the $hit and putting a bigger tanbk on it that will be hooked up to Co2 + the bb gun barrel already has a rifeled barrel.. so that alont will make it a better volocity comming out + more accurate. |

| I'd have to agree with any supporters of an air compressor. You really need that reserve along with the fast (relatively) refill time. They sell small pancake compressors for quite cheap at many hardware stores. If you have the multi-annual Cummins of Homier tool sales were you live they have large tanked compressors for real cheap. Also, give up the idea of the insect sprayer. Check out my post under "Fully Auto BB gun" for my idea. Hope I have helped at least a little. |

| MisterSteve124 said it best about the pump sprayer, I bet an old super soaker makes more pressure than that. Hmmm |
