im new to this whole idea of homemade guns, ive been building AEG's from parts and stuff but never this
i think these guns are really cool!
ive got my design for my first ghetto cloud
i have a vitamin water bottle for a chamber with a spring gun inner barrel in the bottom for my barrel
i have yet to buy the blowgun, but i will soon, and which kind should i get?
i will be using ghetto HPA which is a 3 liter shasta bottle with a schrader valve in the cap pumped to around 90 psi
ill have a hose running from my blowgun to another hose from a bike pump
the bike pump hose is the one with the thing on the end that fixes to schraders
so yea as far as i know, i dont see many people, or no people at all, using ghetto soda bottle hpa tanks
ill have about 3 of them in a backpack.. like a classic airsoft gun
so itd be great if somebody could tell me how a cloud works!
thanks alot!

| simply a cloud just blows the BB's around inside the chamber, the barrel creates a low pressure, and the BB,s get sucked into the barrel and blown out |

| A cloud works a bit like an air-mix lotto machine with a barrel. As regards to the sort of performance you can expect, it depends on many things - chamber volume, barrel length, barrel tightness, valve type etc, and remember that a BBMG achieves its power not by individual BB power but by the sheer weight of fire it can put on a concentrated area. |

i see, so many factors are included to how good a gun like this will function.
haha, if i get shot in the back with something shooting over 350, im in bad shape, one of those soda bottles might go....XP
thanks alot for everybody's help and i hope to have this constructed within a few days!
ill post pics when its all done!
ps. changed chamber to a square medicine bottle to try and achieve higher fps |

Well i believe the sun's rays heat up the water in the hydrosphere and the water evaporates and condenses in the air and becomes a cloud.
When they get heavy and reach their capacity of water they start to rain.
More info can be found here
Hope I've Helped.
Happy Spuddin'.
Edit- I made joke. |

yea so i finished it!! ^.^ it looks ghetttttoooo as hell though
shoots pretty far! about 50 yards but it has a low fps, can barely go through paper. high ROF too
p.s the barrel is a little bit crooked at the moment, thats what the tape was there for
please tell me what you think and how i can improve!!
thanks |

| lmao this is so ghetto. Did you use TAPE to connect your air to your chamber? |

no its just there to get a better seal
cus i made the hole a little too big, and the chamber started turning because of its weight
now its awesome though, i put this foam carrot thing over the barrel, so it looks like a carrot in the bottom of a medicine bottle with a hose coming out of it.... XD
that tape on the barrel is gone now, it was just there to push the barrel down a little bit so i wouldn't be shooting down birds |
