| Filling from the top of the valve will also fill up the air reservoir. |

| What do you mean 'mod it more'? It tells you how to mod it. |

| Do exactly what he did, remove the 'noid, drill a new hole for the pilot valve, find out what you have to do to mod the guide rod (there are several ways posted on spudfiles somewhere) and then put it back together. |

| I have already modified the sprinkler but I want to "further modify it". I have modified it with a blowgun but I want it to hold "175 PSI with high flow". |

All you can do is mod the blow gun or upgrade to a better pilot valve.
They're not rated for 175psi, it would probably leak and I wouldn't even want to find out.
High flow? Well you can increase the opening time, but for flow you would have to modify the valve itself which would make it weaker, and defintely not safe at 175psi. |

| Okay this topic is "how to further mod your sprinkler valve". If you look at the eleventh picture down it says "The new version, capable of 175 psi, with loads more flow." |

Ah so it is, I didn't even realise.
I just suggest you open your 'noid valve up, and compare the two and improvise a way to do a similar mod. I thought you meant like grinding away at the inside to allow more flow, but then again I didn't even read the topic title. |

| Yeah I keep looking at it then walking away to think and can't come up with anything. Would it be safe to 175 PSI though? It does sound kinda high. |

Hey dude, 2 questions
1 - what is the simplest way to make this "further modded valve"?
2 - What materials would I need for modding.
I know that the little token isnt neccecary, and i would like to mod the valve so that if it doesnt end up working, the moddification(s) will allow me to put the old phragm in so that I can fix it.
P.S. - I deffinatly want to try this, but i want to do it with the least amount of damage possible for obvious reasons
Thanks in advance |
