the sparkplug doesn't work. when i filled the fitting with hot glue, it melted the electrical tape around the electrode so the spark hits the side of the fitting instead of in the gun. have any ideas for the spark?
thanks

you should add a smaller nipple behind that union, for ignition you could use a stungun? or ignition coil. Wink

I fixed the same problem with mine as follows:
1) clipped two 6" pieces of coathanger wire. One end was looped and the other was sharpened to a point.
2) drilled two holes into a 1/2" galv endcap. The holes were slightly larger than the coathanger diameter
3) used heatshrink tubing (2" pieces, two pieces over each wire) over the coathanger wires near the loops.
4) place wires into holes, making sure the heatshrink tubing is what is coming into contact with the cap.
5) fill the cap with JB Weld
6) Before the JB Weld dries, screw the pipe nipple onto the cap
7) when the JB Weld dried, I bent the coathanger tips towards each other.

This configuration will then screw directly into a 1/2" npt thread. The long coathanger wires will place the spark closer to the center of the launcher.

Here is a diagram to better help explain. Minus drying time, it took about 10 minutes to make.
