| Usually there are 2 inside but you could just use any small wire. |

| You need 2 separate wires, one attached to the source at which electrons are released to allow them to flow, and another to return them, completing the circuit. Usually, there is a tab on one side of the piezo ignitor to which a lead is soldered and ran to a ground point on the metal tube portion of the lighter, and the other lead is usually attached to the bottom of the piezo, and ran through the nose potion, to the end of the lighter where it arcs to the metal tube. In some cases, the piezo sits with the bottom tab contacting a metal plate which runs to the nose rather than a wire. You should beable to directly solder a wire to the end of the piezo. |
