| I made my friend's nerf darts go faster then they ever have; unfortunately, many of them were killed in the process.

What? No pictures? Your slippy MrCrowley!
Got to try out my new chrony today.
I don't know how I screwed up Ants chrono technique, but I was calculating about 100fps too slow with the copper gun.
Marshmallow gun was shooting 24.4 gram plastic drawer pulls @430fps on 100psi air.
GGDT was within 20fps, I am constantly amazed by that program.
Thanks D. Hall!

10,285 +1 Now! Cool, I remember seeing that before I joined SF's forum.
Well, I tested a simple 1.5 incher sprinkler valved thing I've been building.
Without barrel and the 1 inch SV seems to have much better flow than the 3/4" Toro.
It's a lawn genie with guide rod. So I spent some time and thoughts modding it. Still it worked first try. (Less hassle than Toro was, But I wouldn't recommend either to a noob!)
I plan on making it a double barrel (by strapping two together) so it's technically only almost half done. And still needs handle and hopefully a textured camo paintjob. Should be posting it soon! Just a quick build since I have limited time though.
Also I visited a church today and a guy was talking and he almost started crying and I got a case of giggles coming on, Trying not to randomly laugh...Thought of how terrible I'd look if I laughed... and that made it HARDER not to, so I started caughing to cover it up...most fun I've had sober in a while.
BTW, I'm getting a combustion bug oddly. Hmmm... no pumping or adding air needed...Hmmm... Perhaps a coaxial with internal blow-forward bolt and a magazine passing through the chamber wall... Any ideas on that (?)

I understand.
I've been having some thoughts of home built qevs and a coaxial piston hybrid.
In steel of course.

has been pretty dead here the last time. waiting to get a forged steel union from one of DYI's resources.
i also crapped all 2" unions and went with a 1-1/2" union with weld sockets. good choice when i think a bit since i need much less foil, the bad thing is that i has to lathe of a little bit of the union to get it to fit the barrel. and that i cant have my brass union infront of it to make up for the barrel that always lies bent so the disk slipps out but the union may make up for that when i can use 11x
so you may get some "high" mix videos soon

My HP marble gun is in a state where i want to post it.
I have constructed my first O-ringed piston. All i can say is on a dry fire inside i woke up my dad on the top floor while i was in the basement behind 2 closed doors. he said it shook the house.
Will post soon, under the cannons name of "MIKE" (Marble Instoppable Kenetic "EX"ellerator) that and.... (Janet needed a friend)

Maybe he is refering to the marble "stopper" that he may have installed in his cannon? Hence the term "The marble is instoppable".
Considering his cannon is not breech loaded i highly doubt it though.

You'll be waiting for a while yet I'm afraid. Unless you want to pay $200 for shipping alone, you're going to have to wait 3 weeks after it ships. Also, your lack of a street address is still complicating things...
ITWOST... I'm still waiting. The welder finally got the 5/8" plate, and they're apparently going to run it through the CNC plasma cutter today to get the flange finished. The parts from McMaster have shipped, and if all goes well, it might be finished only a month or so over the initial deadline
I'm also working on a pneumatic, probably my last for a long time. As long as nothing unexpected pops up, it should be posted in a few weeks.
My 1m balloon explosion project is running a bit close to its deadline now (just ordered the balloons today on priority shipping for a $10 premium, and I haven't even started the fill system yet), as are a whole bunch of other things. This summer is turning out to be a lot shorter than I had originally thought it would be, and funds are still scarce due to some unexpected mishaps at the start of July. The rocket kart project is on standby right now, as the next phase is construction of the full size model, and we have to make sure that we have the money necessary to procede. On the upside, there won't be any more significant money-eating projects for the rest of the summer.

Well yeah, but "MUKE" wouldn't sound nearly as good as "MIKE", would it?

| My 2" porting piston cannon is done. There will be a test fire later today. I am a little worried about the piston though it is a little short.
