Damn Killjoy Very Happy
It looks good, much better then it did when resting on camping chairs! How long is that barrel? Should invest in a longer barrel IMO. Or mabe just get a 3" barrel to keep it short while using most of the energy.

I can't wait to see some videos of this, saw that one on your youtube page but that was rather bad quality.
Good luck with your surgery!

Also, try some full bore lead slugs. Works great in my hybrid.

The barrel is 10ft, but after my surgery I plan to add another 10 foot section. I would happily upgrade to a larger diameter barrel but sadly money is very tight at the moment.
I plan to fire lead slugs with a steel jacket around them to cut deformation.
Tomorrow tests continue, I'll keep ya'll posted.

ITWOST,
A seal melted and blew on FEAR today, so tests were called off as a thunderstorm prevented time for repairs. No videos and rather disappointed, but come end of August hopefully I can get a few shots off. Until then my focus will be on my bolt action air rifle while I'm in a cast.
Thought I'd update.

ITWOST, I made some crude lead slugs today.
Basic 14x30mm, cone head, slight chamfer on the tail.
I tried shots at 19m, 60m, 81m (~88 yards), and all bullet holes on target were nice and round. ( I only had one slug left for the 81m shot and actually just missed the target, no damage evidence on target, but the flatened head and the marks on the lead slug show it was flying straight, I'll just have to do some more shooting Smile)

I was using the rifled copper barrel I made a while back, on a spring loaded ballvalve launcher.
The crude rifling marks are visible on some of the slugs that didn't get too flatened.

Pictures on their way...
Edit: Ah maybe not then, I seem to have damage pics of the 19m shots only, I have a video of a 60m shot but the target is too far to be clearly visible. Sorry about all the hype, It'll have to wait until next time i get to shoot. Rolling Eyes I'll still upload the 19m pics...

A few slugs that weren't damaged too much...

First layer...

Second layer...

Second from the back...

Third layer.

Another third layer. Bored yet ?

One of the slugs, the casting didn't go too well on this one, no noticable change in performance though.

In The World Of Spuds Today.
This thread is perfect for progress not significant enough for it's own thread.

ITWOST, I have finished my 5-spark system and chamber fan on my old combustion. Even with butane it is BEASTLY, can't wait to get MAP Pro in there!

if you don't, it may well fire when you disconnect the pump.

... unless you but this one, which allows you to independently release/depress the schrader valve stem. The second pump you linked to doesn't have this feature.

BTW al-xg, good stuff with that rifled barrel!

Are you sure that that one has that feature? That would be really great, and also I wouldn't have to get the anti air loss connection.

Quite sure, mine is the same design. It's the purple knob ( Rolling Eyes ) on top of the female filling connection.

Ah, thanks man. Much appreciated, I would've spent 15 bucks more for nothing.
