So I was thinking about making an inline BBMG, but instead of having a spring to push the BB's foward, there would be a plunger. The back would not be capped off, and you would manually push the plunger foward, causing the same effect as the spring. Then my younger brother had a really good idea. Why not just mod a caulking gun Idea I am going to build one, hopefully sooner rater than later. If someone does so or has done so, I would love to see pics!!! Very Happy

Theres no reason why it woudnt work but you would have to oring the plunger and it would over complicate a bullpup design, it would just be easiest to use a spring, those are just my 2 cents though

Agree with clemsonguy, that is a rather bad idea... it would make too much work for something that is way easier to do with a spring and a washer.

Your plunger is going to come shooting back at you as soon as it is under any pressure.

well if you have the silicon tube in the gun it wont push the plunger back but you'd have to keep pumping it to push bbs forward, i think a spring would much better.

Well he did say he would mod the caulking gun but even then he would be going through too much work for nothing.

Yes you have a point there but in general about bbmgs you cannmake a basic cloud which is worth doing and you can overdo it by adding scopes, sights, stocks grips, lasers ect

yeah but there is some point in it... it will look more tactical, be easier to aim etc.

but what's the point of doing this?

No I'm just to lazy to reply and is a scope required for a gun that shoots 100+ bbs per second it'll halp with looks but other than that it's not helpful

You could reduce chamber size as ammunition reduces, thereby reducing dead space and increasing power Wink
