Last summer SMOMW hosted the Kentucky spud meet at his house and it was an amazing time. Four of us showed and really had the time of our lives. This next year we hope to share the experience with more spudders.

SMOMW's shooting area was amazing and he had a workshop which we spent much of our time in. He is going to be moving shortly but fortunate for us, the shooting area gets better. He's go a huge amount of land and all are welcome as long as you can follow some rules.

Last time we spent maybe 3-4 days together and it went by extremely fast. We hope to spend at least a week together this time. It really does fly by with all the spudding projects and activities.

Right now we excpect at least 5 people to show up and we are going to pitch some tents, shoot, build, eat ramen and hot dogs and whatever else we feel like doing.

I'll be bringing a bunch of launchers, a crap load of golf balls, tools, pvc parts and all that - basically my whole workshop. We plan to have the musicians do their thing; I'll have my acoustic guitar, banjo, and acoustic bass. I'll also be bringing my "external combustion launcher".

Please come. Beg. Whine. Cry. Make promises you wont keep. It's definately worth it. We can work on carpooling if needed. I'm not objected to going an hour out of the way to grab someone as long as they can pitch in a couple bucks for gas.

So bring your launchers. Bring your tools, your scrap materials. Bring your brother, your dog, your guitar! This is gonna be the coolest camping trip you have ever been on.

I would never give the address out without permission, i understand privecy(sp). It could be PMed to me, thanks for asking for me.

There's no mountains in the spot we will be in. It's prettymuch all flat grass.

I didn't know you were in a wheelshair. Is this a permanent condition?

I apolagize for dragging this back up, but I'll try to get my parents to bring the motor home up, a 32' c class, $5 will get you a bed in that luxurious beast instead of the hard ground in a tent....lol. But act quick! there's only 4 or 5 after me n my parents! (Sean get one for free so 3 or 4)

the shootout will be the week of the fourth of july. the 4th is a wed. so from that previous sunday afternoon untill the following saturday we will be at my new house.

we almost have the garage built, working on that right now. So we will have a workshop.

the actuall house will be under roof but we won't be living in it yet so we all will be able to either camp out outside or bunk on the floor of the unfinished house. the latter preferably. Hopefully I'll have showers hooked up in the house as well, there will be running watter in the garage and electricity hooked up by july.

if you want to attend please e-mail me at killer_of_spuds@msn.com . I will send you the address and all that you need after i've talked to you there.

Walter, john, I need you guys to e-mail me and give me a heads up on your plans. you too gort.

this is going to be a blast. I wish spudtech forums wern't shut down, we had a good discussion about all this there.... I'll check back on here from now on.
