Where in the world is a good place to find some lead? I need some to melt down into rounds for the dubya and i can't think of any places to get some... :/ any ideas?

| If I were you, I would try going to a tyre place and ask for some used lead weights that they use to balance wheels. They will probably sell you some used ones cheaply. |

| Tire shops are usually the best. Go to a mom and pop store (not a major chain) first, then hit the franchised stores. Offer to buy it by the bucket; you might be able to get a 5 gallon bucket full for $20.00. If not, then offer $.20/lb for whatever they have. |

Don’t know about you, but ‘round my house the pellet trap is always a good place to look for lead… actually you can find lead just about anywhere in my house from all the pellets I’ve dropped…  |

| im not sure if its really lead but an old airsoft gun i had a a bunch of wieghts in it and a couple pounds from a hammer turned em into pancakes. that might work |

Indeed, why pay for lead that has been processed to fairly tight tolerances, only to rearrange it? |

hey i got 220lb of those for free and they have melted it down before so those steel things are not in them anymore.. |
