sorry if I missed the appropriate thread but...
1.) when using a proxy I am unable to log on.
2.) it'd be nice to have the little box that pops up when your mouse is over the thread tittle with the first 20 words or so...
3.) can you put the search function somewhere obvious? like a box, upper right?
4.)the new posts link, could you have it within the "user's past posts" link?
just thought I'd through this out there...tell me if I need to clarify anything

...spudfiles is blocked under the classification of weapons, which you can veiw...
...are they using Bess?
If so, there are probably three options:
1) change your proxie settings under "internet options" (hasn't worked at my school for two years now)
2) use a different browser
3) go to http://www.anzioironworks.com/ and laugh about how they've blocked spudfiles but allow one to veiw a site where you can order 20 mm precision rifles. (which, I think, violates their "interenet commerce" section as well) |

Then bring the file in on a memory stick, unless they've disabled that.
(I will NOT suggest booting an alternate operating system from a memory stick because it'd probably piss them off) |

ok one problem with that right off do they monitor who is logged in? Do they have a log in folder that records all log ins and outs? So many measures that they could have in place that you dont know of. |

I know exactly how the college firewall at my place works and it's still not doing me any good.
Theres a number of gateways that provide access to the internet, all of them re-route traffic through a filter except the administrators gateway.
I had the number for it for a few months but the buggers changed it and the only way I'm going to get hold of it now is by managing to get hold of a logged on computer in the admins room for a couple of minutes |
