Love the cannon, compact, clean and well built. I'm glad to see more and more people making guns like this one for airsoft. Oh, and it's nice to see someone on this site that can spell "grenade" instead of gernade. |

| That is the coolest loading system I have ever seen. I am going to use that on one of my barrels. |

Hi,
Cool gun!
Which way were your thinking of mounting that pump, handle forward or back? I always forget to consider that in my designs (I don´t want to stand right over the muzzle, even when it is, as far as I remember, not loaded). You can simply detach the barrel when pumping, nice.
Regards

Beautiful, but the fact that you can load quickly but only have enough air for one shot bothers me. CO2 is a great idea; with the bike pump you'll need a good buddy or a high-powered SMG that you can use with one hand to avoid being picked off(my choice: Tokyo Marui P90 upped to 400+ fps.....I don't have it Im not rich enough fo TM ) |

| Sorry, no damage pics... I use it to shoot airsoft BBs and I have never found a good solid projectile to fit in the barrel to do some damage. Even if I did find a good projectile it probably would have not so good performance with the short barrel length and all. |

From what I can gather, you slide the barrel forward, insert your shell, reset the barrel, and tighten the clamp to secure the barrel?
I built one similar to this a while back. I made a locking system similar to the BECC Jr (http://www.pukindogspaintball.com/cannons/BECC2.htm) version, however, when I shot it, the barrel slid forward. This was a very bad thing because I was firing the cannon like an AT-4. When the barrel slid forward, so did the shell and besides getting a poor shot, the pop from the air was horrendous on my ear. |

pne - no, use the co2 to fill the chamber.
are you familiar with paintball? if so, basically take the:
1) ASA (what a co2 bottle screws in to),
2) the expansion chamber (not required, but recommended) and
3) Low Pressure regulator (i.e. Palmers Stabilizer)
from a paintball gun and mount it to the launcher to fill the chamber. or you could run it from a remote co2 source.
but don't ever ever ever ever ever even consider pressures greater than 90 psi for pvc. NSF sch40 PVC is rated for 140psi, but PVC can be nasty when shatters (and PVC gets more brittle when cold).
i just found out that my local paintball field will not allow plastic-chambered launchers on the field. period. (they did last year, but awareness is growing). hence the chamber for my paintball launcher will be 1-1/4" dia copper (only about a foot long). |

If the barrel is sliding foreword you could do this:
Kind of the same idea as the BECC simple, but would slow down the rate of fire |
