I certainly understand, I have an O2 tank I "borrowed" from work that I manually purge in my car/bathroom/small space for kicks and giggles (well the N20 does a better job with the giggles) |

Be careful with that N2O, it can be addictive to some degree.
Does breathing pure oxygen really give you a high? I can definitely see how it's possible. I sure hope the oxygen tank isn't an industrial one, because you'd be purging trace amounts of all sorts of nasty crap into your small spaces if that were the case.
...And this thread is officially derailed |

| sorry for the derailing, but yeah pure O2 bled into a small space, as to create a high O2 level, not pure, will give a great head rush, but over doing it will cause headaches, but it works wonders for hangovers and any "bad" feelings... the N2O was discovered by accident in a garden hose/modified intake/rotary engine experiment where me and some friends discovered a 300 shot doesnt fair very well with standard garden hose, after one 1/4 drag(laughing after the first 2 seconds) the engine (that had a blown apex seal to begin with) wasnt liking the NOS... well one thing led to another and we managed to blow the intake up by forcing gas out of the housing and back into the intake where some messed up stuff happened, and well, as said before it blew up, big time... but anyways... |

Great new video DYI.
Wish I had more funds right now I'd donate a barrel.
I was thinking in the video, I'm sure you're behind cover, but with those oxy ,propane tanks so close when firing...If you do get it to DDT/ pipe failure, It may start a fire or rain can parts if one gets punctured by frag.s. (Just thinking safety's all)
BTW cool music choice. Timing goes nicely |

| thunder: i really thought of that when i first fired my hybrid from 10feet away. the propane tank was like 4" from the (bomb) and if it went of it would have taken the tank with it and a huge fireball in my face.. |

With it beginning to look like the welding job for my next project isn't going anywhere very fast, I'm going to throw the chamber from my "Hybrid 1" onto this launcher, and cast an extension onto the barrel.
Chamber volume increase: +20%
Barrel length increase (to 72.0"): ~30%
Mix increase (to 15x): up to 25%, depending on disc
All of these are stacking; the total performance improvement over the original should be as much as 100% - significant enough to be worth pursuing. Using firearms as an analogue, it will be transformed from a .30-06 to a .50BMG.
Depending on how long it takes to build a more effective sparkplug, the new version could be operational in as little as a week. I'll be sure to keep you all posted. |

All upgrades to the launcher are now complete, and proper testing will commence as soon as my chrony arrives.
New specs:
Chamber: 160 ci
Barrel: 1.61" x 84"
Meter: capable of up to 24x high accuracy mixes, and about 40x with a lesser degree of accuracy.
Ignition: central high voltage arc.
I'll be doing a test shot tomorrow, but don't hold your breaths, because my camera fried, and I won't be getting a new one until Wednesday. |

That's what the Darwin Awards are for, boy.
Stupidity kills - and that's a good thing, because then we don't have to deal with as many total planks. |

red·neck Audio Help /ˈrɛdˌnɛk/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[red-nek] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation Informal: Often Disparaging.
–noun 1. an uneducated white farm laborer, esp. from the South.
2. a bigot or reactionary, esp. from the rural working class.
–adjective 3. Also, red-necked. narrow, prejudiced, or reactionary: a redneck attitude.
Also, red-neck.
Ah ok, I fully unserstand now. At what mix does a hybrid make its builder fit into the above description? 20x and above? Or does 10-20x constitute redneck? That must mean 5-10x is "hillbilly", right? Preceeded by the "city boy" for 1-5x?
EDIT: Sorry for the sidetrack, back on topic
