A lot of you (almost all) use plastic tubes, like pen tubes. Has anyone melted a tube to another one rather than taping or gluing? I melted one to get a bend and that worked well.

Please ask your question again in "properish" english Wink (sorry, I really cant understand what youre saying!) and I/ someone will try to help you!

EDIT: you want to join 2 pieces of plastic by melting them together?

ok cool. well i guess it depends on the type of plastic the pen is made of. The best method that i can think of would be to have a piece of plastic tube over the two pieces of pen to create a joint. This is strong and should be air tight if you JB weld it. The only thing about melting the two pens is they may distort and the joint created would be comparitively weak. heres a diagram: http://s203.photobucket.com/albums/aa95/spudyeti/?action=view&current= joint.jpg

On my first pneumatic I melted a plastic pipe and a plastic hose fitting together with a soldering iron.

Worked fine at the 100psi I used it at Smile

Definitely not something for large cannons though.

i found some one that does it with big pvc be he just melt a larger tube onto the smaller one for cement piping i guess and some people bake (like in the oven) there pvc to get crazy bends but they have to stretch it as then bend to get a consistent diameter
