I just made this tonight because was bored and needed something i could shoot in the house (freakin -20 degrees outside) and found some stuff around the house.
for materials, i used:
*1 large pill bottle (with child proof seal)
*1 casing from a bic pen
*1 handle from a toy gun
*1 long nose lighter (just the igniter and the fuel, with the tube)
*2 nails
*and a lot of tape (or epoxy)
It takes about 10-15 seconds of fueling to shoot and it can shoot accurately up to about 30 feet.
some ammo i like to use is:
*potato plugs
*spit balls (or just wadding of any sort)
*wadding with a small nail or the ink tube from the pen i took apart
*bb's (haven't tried yet)
*and other miscellaneous objects i can get my hands on
Took me about 2 hrs to make and you could easily make one too.
Its great for the beginner spudder who's parents are super strict about homemade combustion launchers because of its compact size and lack of danger.
You can pretty much figure out the steps on how to make it just by looking at the pics.... unless your IQ is under 53 lol, but there's no dumb question so don't be afraid to ask.
If i wanted to make it look nice, i would have used epoxy instead of tape, but its Friday and I'm just lazy.
questions and comments appreciated.

If you use an external image hosting site you simply copy the IMG code into the post.
If you use the Spudfiles upload tool (recommended) then you simply click the browse button, select the image on your pc, add a description and say add attachment, you will be good to go
EDIT: sorry didnt see ya post nova
and AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE, god i love aussie day! |

| instead of trying to upload 475-500kb images shrink them down to somewhere in the ~100kb range. your connection won't time out and some of us guys on dialup won't be upset when we try to load a page full of images. |
