No friend, there’s a big difference between a Grease Gun (m3) and a Schmeisser (mp40):
One’s German, the other American.
One’s 9mm, the other .45acp.
One’s got a folding stock, the other a telescopic wire stock.
The only thing they have in conmen is there both stamped, not even the same internal mechanism other then the fact they both use pure blow-back.

I hate it!
It looks awful!

Now you just know I'm lying don't ya?!?!?

Great looking MP40 you've got there!
I especially like you picked a "not so popular" gun to copy.
Don't mean to say it's ugly, just...everyone else would go for m-16's uzi's mp-5's and Ak's.

Odd but great choice nevertheless.

Wow that is an awesome build, like the other one that was styled like an m-16 you created.
You had stated that the last one was going to be all for a while and I'm glad to see it wasn't. Wink

@ The Judge, you may be aware of this but "Schmeisser" was just a nickname for the mp40.
That's because when the americans picked them up they didn't know the proper name and the magazines were made and stamped "Schmeisser"

But I believe the actual SMG's were made by another company.
The nickname "Schmeisser" stuck though.
They were also considered one of the highest quality SMG's supposedly much better than a British Sten SMG or American "Grease Gun", which were just banged out.

Yeah, I know that Schmeisser was just a nickname, as was Grease Gun.

It depends on the model of the Sten, early model Stens were on par with Schmeissers; Grease Guns were junk, the only part that wasn’t stamped was the barrel, which was barely rifled.

I also concur with Brian the Brain.
